Sounds of Peace-Florida Keys
A few months ago I was selected to paint a "Peace Bell" for the Keys to Peace organization. The Keys to Peace are parks from Key Largo to Key West that have been revamped and now have mandalas, meditation areas, spiritual inspirations messages and more. The Sounds of Peace are actually upcycled scuba tanks that were stripped of their mechanisms and a ringer was added inside. After being primed- several artists were chosen to paint them in our own theme. I chose one of the eight auspicious symbols of the Tibetan Buddhism- the Twin Fishes. This symbol means we should move freely through life as a fish does happily in water. These bells were then hung from a tree and blessed by the Tibetan Monks!! It was a wonderful ceremony and I really enjoyed painting my Peace bell!

Dia de los Meurtos Preparation!
Everyone get ready-
It's the 1st Annual Dia de Los Muertos processional and festival this year in Ft Lauderdale!! I am now making necklaces, jewelry, skull masks, notecards, greeting cards and more! This necklace was made from black lace applique, stone skull beads and crystal rondelles. The focal point(Muertos skull image) is made from Mica, hand-stamped with a deep purple ink and accented with Swarovski eyes!
I can hardly wait- get your order in early!
New Creations
Here is a custom necklace I created for someone on Swap-bot. It had to incorporate a vintage "Frozen Charlotte" doll. These little dolls are the origin of the baby doll. From Germany(late 1800's), these little bisque dolls were originally placed in your teas to keep it warm. The first dolls were all white(like this one) then later they started using color for hair and make-up, then eventually making them with movable arms and legs. I make these one of a kind doll necklaces in any length or style. This one is an eclectic mix using different chains, pieces of vintage chandelier crystals, and glass czech beads.
Hope you love it/ her :-)

So here's a chunky tag made for Swap-bot with the Alice in Wonderland theme. I love all the soft colors and pastels. So fun and playful with a touch of vintage style.

Here's another recent project/gift- an altered canvas perfect to hang in any room of your house. I love Marie Antoinette and butterflies so I combined the two together! The silk flower in the corner is handmade from 100% silk fabric and then highlighted with Stickles-yum!
The other embellishments are Prima flowers and bling.
